CUS-2524 is a high performance L2 Giga managed switch with 4 Giga SFP/TX module slots. The Giga optical fiber ports support up to 80km distances making the switch an ideal device for connecting to MAN backbone networks. CUS-2524 provides network security through 802.1X port-based user authentication. With auto-detection and restraining of broadcast storms and IGMP snooping support, the switch prevents network flooding allowing bandwidth to be used by essential network applications. Port trunking (8 ports/group), 802.1p port priority, QoS L2-4 traffic classification, Spanning Tree and VLAN are supported features on CUS-2524 that provide a reliable, secure and efficient network.
